The Rural Assistance Program was created to support member food banks to assist with various needs not addressed by other provincial and national funds. This funding can be applied for to assist with: Matching grants, Food Safety, Food Purchasing, Equipment (purchases, repairs, maintenance)training, and Infrastructure. Food banks are eligible to apply for these program funds once every 2 years. Food banks can access this application forms through the online database.
