Food Banks Alberta has received a donation of 3 million masks from MedSup to support the provincial network of 102 food banks in their essential work as they safely provide assistance to a growing number of people in need throughout Alberta communities.
“This generous donation of masks from MedSup will help keep food bank volunteers and their clients safe and ensure that they are able to maintain proper PPE protocols during the COVID 19 pandemic. With proper PPE supplies, food banks can focus on the task of continuing to serve those in need in their communities” said Debbie Herman, Food Procurement & Logistics Manager for Food Banks Alberta.
