Fighting hunger
by feeding food banks.
Since 2004, Alberta’s dairy farmers have raised over $270,000
in support of community campaigns and donated
more than 60,000 litres of milk to Food Banks Alberta.
Food Banks Alberta supports 113 member food banks throughout the province by empowering their members to serve Albertans facing food insecurity.
The donation will allow Food Banks Alberta and its 113-member food banks to provide nutritional food items – including dairy products, which are one of the most requested items at food banks – to those in need.
